Make Up Your Mind

While on a topic
I wanted to discuss
Instead of your opinion
You started to fuss
And then the focus
Of topic was all 
About Us.


The changing
Of topics is
Like the changing
Of Mood.
The sound in one's
Voice is not 
Worth such
To Brood.

We must learn 
To live mannerly
As the time 
Takes us well.
But when the 
mind is made up
I hope it is me
That you will 
Tell.

Poor Puppy!

I think it is sad to see
The little dog who

Lives nest door to me.
His master does not give
Him the time of day.
What is the sense to
Not have this loyal friend
To stay?

This puppy used to be a
gleaming color of white
Now he's a brown dog
That barks long in the night.

We feed him and water him
As often as each day.
Don't know how long
His master will be away.

If I could give my "buddy boy "
A bath, and rub his belly
And make him laugh.
He looks so sad
I  know he's in pain.
Got to forgive his owner-
Because it is really a shame.

Keeping My Mind At Ease

I wake up every morning
And Thank the Good Lord
For allowing another day-
That keeps my mind at ease.

 I sing a song to God because
He likes to hear the voice of my heart-
That keeps my mind at ease.

I smile and treat everyone
The way I want them to treat me.
And I always listen to what they
Say to me-
That keeps  my mind at ease.

I again thank God for my day
When something doesn't work
My way-
That keeps my mind at ease.

And I make sure
I show my love
In some small way
Before I go to sleep

At night-
That keeps my mind at ease.

And I pray forgiveness
For all the world,
For sins  seen and unseen-
That keeps my mind at ease.

Let Go....Let God Do His Thing...........
